More than 90 people attended the Town of Islip IDA’s dinner, Smart Opportunities for Long Island’s Businesses held at the Irish Coffee Pub in East Islip.
The evening kicked off with opening remarks from LIBDC Executive Board Members John Kominicki and Ted Sasso, and was followed by informative discussions from Islip Supervisor Tom Croci who spoke about the Heartland Town Square project, Islip Councilwoman Trish Bergin Weichbrodt who discussed the Ronkonkoma Hub project, and Michael Orsino, Chief Lending Officer at Suffolk County National Bank who spoke about the Role of Community Banks.
