Gold was the keynote speaker at the LIBDC’s annual Hempstead event, where he discussed the health system’s new medical school at Hofstra University. The school, which is expanding by 64,000 feet, is a trendsetting institution that focuses on promoting wellness in addition to the traditional approach to treating illness.
